Home2 Suites by Hilton opens in Woodstock, Ont.

STAY MAGAZINE | WOODSTOCK, ON (July 15th, 2025) – Infinity Hospitality Group has opened the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Woodstock, marking the latest addition to the company’s growing Ontario portfolio.

Located at 527 Lampman Place, the all-suite property is designed to accommodate business travellers, families and extended-stay guests, with amenities focused on comfort and flexibility.

The Woodstock hotel is developed and managed by Infinity Hospitality Group, a Woodstock-based company launched in 2023 by brothers Dharmesh and Ravi Patel and their families. The group positions itself as a full-service hospitality development and management firm, with leadership that brings more than 100 years of combined experience in hotel planning, construction, renovation and operations.

Infinity’s roots in the hospitality sector date back to 2003, when its founders acquired their first motel. Since then, the company has expanded its presence in southern Ontario through a mix of new builds and conversions, including properties affiliated with major hotel brands.

The opening of Home2 Suites by Hilton in Woodstock aligns with the company’s strategy to expand in mid-sized Ontario markets while offering long-stay accommodations supported by branded service standards.

Woodstock, ON – 07/07/2025 – Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodstock, a 6-story all-suites hotel, located just minutes from the Heart of Woodstock, opened today in Woodstock, ON. With an ideal location near many local restaurants and the soon-to-be Woodstock Convention Centre, the hotel offers both business and leisure travelers an exceptional lodging experience.

The 105-Suite Property Expected to Welcome Guests in December 2024

Woodstock, ON – September 25, 2023 – Infinity Hospitality Group Ltd. broke ground at 527 Lampman Place, the site of its future Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel. The 105-suite property, operated by Infinity Hospitality Group Ltd. will reflect Woodstock’s warmth and hospitality. Construction, led by Sierra General Contracting and API Developments, is expected to be completed by December 2024.

Choice Hotels Canada Announces 2022 National APEX winners

Dharmesh Patel named Leader of the Year

Leamington, ON (October 5, 2022) − Choice Hotels Canada has announced the national winners of its prestigious 2022 Awards for Property Excellence (APEX). Dharmesh Patel, general manager of the Quality Inn in Leamington, Ontario, is the recipient of the national award for Leader of the Year.

 Altogether 11 national APEX Awards, which recognize stellar performance, commitment to guest service, and operational excellence, were distributed to top performing properties and individuals across the country.

“Dharmesh is a force to be reckoned with and I am so proud to celebrate him with this latest award,” says Brian Leon, CEO of Choice Hotels Canada. “He is not just a colleague, but a friend, who is a true inspiration. He has battled health issues with a positive attitude and has worked tirelessly, never missing a beat, to provide best-in-class hospitality at his hotel.”

The Leader of the Year award is a peer-based award that recognizes an individual whose achievements include outstanding operational practices and team building. During the pandemic, Dharmesh pivoted the business multiple times, one of which was to support workers in the agricultural industry arriving in Canada.

He also helped the local restaurant industry through the implementation of a meal plan and twice gave back to those in healthcare working around the clock. Even though he was also dealing with his own health challenges at the time, he was able to successfully lead the hotel to achieve a record year. This is the second national APEX award for Dharmesh who was also named Choice Privileges Ambassador of the year in 2021.

Dharmesh Patel honoured with Choice Privileges Ambassador of the Year

ATLANTA (July 1, 2019) – The HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES WOODSTOCK SOUTH received the IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) 2018 Torchbearer Award, the company’s most prestigious award.

The HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES WOODSTOCK is one of 216 properties within the Americas chosen from the IHG system of more than 5,300 hotels for achieving the highest levels of excellence in all aspects of operation — from quality to customer satisfaction.

ORMHA 2nd ANNUAL EVENING OF EXCELLENCE GALA

Presented by The Windsor Region of the Ontario Restaurant Hotel Motel Association and Culinary Federation Windsor Chapter, the ORMHA held their event on October 15, 2018.

Voting concluded Sept 30, 2018 and the Windsor ORHMA Board of Directors confirmed the winners last Thursday.

ORHMA Windsor and CCFCC celebrate first Hospitality Awards

WINDSOR, Ont. — ORHMA Windsor Chapter, in partnership with the CCFCC Culinary Guild of Windsor, held its first Hospitality Awards of Excellence Gala on Oct. 23 to celebrate Windsor’s hospitality industry.

On Monday, Oct. 23, the Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association’s (ORHMA) Windsor Chapter, in partnership with the CCFCC Culinary Guild of Windsor, held its first “Hospitality Awards of Excellence Gala” to celebrate Windsor’s hospitality industry and to recognize the local industry’s shining stars.

This sold-out black tie event was held at the Essex Golf & Country Club, where chef John Kukucka and his team prepared a five-course feast. According to Tony Elenis, president & CEO of ORHMA, “ORHMA is very proud to recognize and congratulate these establishments for their role in the local hospitality community and their commitment to service and quality.”
